I love the Seaweed Soap ($4), which has a vegetable base (not animal tallow like many soaps have). It doesn't smell like much, but it has these wonderful tiny scrubbies in it that do a fabulous job of cleaning and exfoliating at the same time. Reviva recommends using this on any areas that have cellulite, as the scrubbies stimulate blood flow and circulation which leads to less bumpiness. Seaweed Soap is not just for bumpy thighs and bums, it's a soap that everyone in my family loves.

I have been using it for four days now and absolutely love it! It has a nice perfumey type smell and has small granules that scrub when you use it. It is very moisturizing because of the 100% pure vegetable base of palm and coconut oils-therefore while your skin is being exfoliated it is simultaneously being moisturized. What this means is your skin feels silky smooth and moisturized rather than stripped. The scrubby bits of seaweed really mean business and when you take a moment to lather up the bar you will be rewarded by a rich creamy soap that is simply divine. Truth be told, this unassuming and unpretentious soap has given every expensive body scrub that I have tried a run for the money - it really is that good. What makes this even sweeter is the fact that it is very affordable.

The seaweed soap bar lathers very nicely. I like to wet my face and the bar of soap, then rub the bar of soap all over my face. I like the little roughness to buff off any extra dirt or dead skin. After that I will rub it in and make sure I clean my whole face. When I rinse all the soap off my face feels super clean and oil free. I use this daily as my makeup remover. It gets it all off in one wash. My face feels so fresh and so clean!!!

I liked that the soap left my skin feeling clean, but it wasn't drying. I think that the coconut oil in it really helped to keep my skin soft. The pieces of real seaweed and walnut shell powder in the soap also did a great job of exfoliating. I like that it's a unique alternative to all the exfoliating soaps that contain oatmeal.

Isn't weird to know that most soaps are made of animal's tallow or fats? It makes me cringe a bit whenever I hear it. But it's true. Animal's fat is used to give soap it's bubbly and creamy lather, hardness and conditioning property. Reviva Labs Seaweed soap is different. Like what the description says, it's made with vegetable base palm and coconut oil and seaweed grains making it completely vegetarian friendly.
What I like...
- I love the seaweed grains! One side of the soap had more seaweed grains than the other side. The side with more grains felt rough on the skin, so you might want to use the other side with less grains if you just want a mild exfoliation. I actually prefer the rougher side of the soap. I especially like it when I scrub it on my back like it's scratching it...Ahhhh it felt so good!
-It has a nice clean scent..not flowery, fruity or anything irritating to the nose.-It lather's very well.-It doesn't make my skin dry.
What I don't like...
-I know I've only used it for two days, but I honestly can't point anything I don't like about it. Maybe just be careful because the seaweed grains are really rough.

I love trying new soaps. Granted I haven't tried all that many, but I love picking up "au natural" soaps when I find them at my local Marshalls, TJMaxx, Whole Food and other health food stores! I actually have never purchased anything from Lush, I've only walked in there a few times.. but I am very curious to try some of their things as well.
Reviva Labs is a brand that in my opinion, doesn't get enough praise. It's a fabulous brand and everything I've tried, I really liked. This soap is no exception!
For the past few weeks, this soap has been the only thing I've used on my face as cleanser and on my body in the shower. I do like using African Black Soap, but I feel like the Seaweed Soap doesn't dry out my skin like the A.B.S does.
If you're sensitive to scents, or are easily offended by products with no fragrance added, this soap may be a little too much for you. "Natural" smelling products don't bother me at all, and although this soap is a little pungent, I'm completely fine with it.
The bar has little grits of seaweed that feel great on the skin. I like to scrub any areas prone to ingrowns, such as the back of my forearms by my elbows and my knees. I feel squeaky clean at the end of my shower, yet my skin feels very soft to the touch.
On my face, I typically use this soap in conjunction with my Olay Pro-X Cleansing Brush. It takes away all of my makeup with ease and has made my face noticeably softer. **I'd recommend using a separate remover for your eye makeup, as it does burn when the soap comes in contact with your eyes.
As far as cellulite reduction, I haven't been keeping tabs on that, but I will be re-purchasing this soap, so maybe it's something I'll notice in the long-run.

The Seaweed Soap bar was perfect for my skin. I have always preferred bar soaps over body wash so I was very excited to try this product. This soap is rich in minerals and gently exfoliates your skin with seaweed grains, which help to remove impurities from your body. Many bar soaps I have tried tend to leave me dried out with a soap scum feeling but this soap was surprisingly very moisturizing. My skin is also very sensitive and I have found soaps to be burning or irritating and I did not have that problem with the seaweed soap. If you are use to using body wash with a loofah, try lathering a loofah with your soap bar and you will have the same effect while also helping the environment by saving plastic from body wash bottles.
