Skin Lightener Day Cream with Kojic Acid

Precisely blended lightening ingredients

Skin Lightener Day Cream with Kojic Acid
Only $13.00 each

Our NATURAL BASE with precise blending of lightening ingredients (mulberry, lime and a small percentage of Kojic acid) has been one of the major reasons why Skin Lightener For Day Fade Cream is so effective.

But an important key to successful fading of dark spots or skin discoloration is protecting those areas from the sun. Thus, we have added SPF #15 sunscreen agent.

For faster results, use this daytime fade cream to supplement our Brown Spot Night Cream.

NOTE: We recommend & ldquo patch& rdquo testing for sensitivity on the underside of forearm before beginning treatment.

    Key Ingredients

Kojic acid is produced by several varieties of fungi, and is a by-product of the fermentation process of malting rice – used in the manufacture of the Japanese rice wine, sake. It is used in cosmetics to lighten skin by inhibiting or interrupting the skin's production of melanin. The production of melanin is what determines skin pigmentation.

Melanin production is mainly determined by genetics, but can vary due to the body's response to both internal and external factors. Pregnancy hormones, stress, sun exposure, and inflammation can all cause increased melanin production. Kojic acid interferes with melanin production, helping to lighten the skin.

Kojic acid is also known for its antioxidant, antibacterial, and antifungal properties.

Kojic acid has been used increasingly as a replacement for hydroquinone. Hydroquinone, while an effective skin lightening agent, can be irritating to some skin types.

  • After cleansing, massage a small amount into the spot area each morning. Remember, too, that removing dead skin cells with Reviva Light Skin Peel once a week helps speed results.
