Elaine’s Favorite Reviva Labs Skin Care

I first learned of Reviva when I began working with them as an outside vendor in 2004. At the time, I really didn’t have a skincare “routine.” I moisturized – and wore sunscreen when I went to the beach or the pool – but that was about it.

Since my company was working with Reviva on its marketing and advertising, the founder, Mr. Stephen Strassler, insisted that we learn as much about their products as possible. And, lucky for me, I got to try a lot of them.

Since my initial introduction to Reviva Labs, I have used Reviva skin care almost exclusively. Yes, there was the rare time I would try something else that was “hot” or promised amazing results – but I always come back to my Reviva favorites. They work for me, and I know how much care goes into their formulation and production.

Alpha Lipoic Acid, Vitamin C Ester, DMAE Crème

This is the product I consider my go-to skin care product. I use it every night – and sometimes during the day. Even if I am exhausted and don’t do anything else for my skin before I go to bed at night, I put on my Alpha Lipoic Acid, Vitamin C Ester, DMAE Crème. Yeah, the name is a mouthful – but the ingredients are just as robust as the name. My skin feels soft and smooth every morning when I wake up, and I’ve been told I don’t look my age (which I’m not going to share here…)

This product has always been one of Reviva’s “signature” products – with good reason. It’s full of antioxidants (Alpha Lipoic Acid and Vitamin C Ester) and firming ingredients (DMAE) and peptides (Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5) – plus olive oil and jojoba oil to nourish the skin. It’s a powerhouse, and if I could only choose one skin care product for the rest of my life, this would be the one.

Light Skin Peel Mild Exfoliant

It’s funny; I had gotten a few facials at a local salon/spa prior to learning about Reviva Labs. When Mr. Strassler gave me the first few products to try, one of them was Light Skin Peel Mild Exfoliant. As soon as I opened the jar, I recognized the distinctive scent as something that had been used when I got my last facial. The next time I went to that salon/spa, I asked about it. The aesthetician told me she used it with 99% of the facials she did, since it was so gentle and effective.

I’ll admit I don’t use it as often as I should: With a tween daughter and more pets than I’ll admit to here, I don’t get as much “pampering” time as I would like – and there is a bit of time needed to use this product, as it needs to dry on your skin completely prior to removal in order to get the full benefits. But when I use it, I see and feel a noticeable difference in the texture of my skin. It removes all the dead skin cells – almost like magic. And it really helps my other creams and serums work better. I even had my mom try it (she’s not someone who spends a lot of time taking care of her skin), and she marveled at how much better her skin looked after a single use. So now she uses it regularly also.

Elastin Collagen Body Firming Lotion with DMAE

Without fail, after every shower I apply Reviva’s Elastin Collagen Body Lotion – from shoulders to toes. At this point. I’ve been using this product for so long that it’s become a habit: while my skin is still damp I apply this body lotion.

Some people don’t give much attention to the skin on their bodies. But the skin is the body’s largest organ, so I feel it all deserves attention.

Reviva’s Elastin Collagen Body Firming Lotion has collagen and elastin, which help soothe the skin, as well as DMAE which is a firming ingredient. It also contains Safflower Seed Oil to help nourish the skin. And its light citrus scent is delightful right after a bath or shower.

Vitamin E Stick

OK… This one almost doesn’t count, since I haven’t met a single person who works for Reviva who doesn’t use our Vitamin E Stick. I have them all over my house, in my handbag, and in my desk at work. My daughter has at least 3-4 hanging around at all times – and my husband uses it as well. There is, quite simply, nothing I have found that is more soothing on my lips. No matter the season – or the weather – this keeps my lips soft and moisturized. I apply it at least 2-3 times a day, and it’s always soothing.

We have so many items in our product line that it’s easy to flip-flop favorites every week or every day. So, it’s no wonder that I’ve added a few new favorites including our updated Cleansing Milk, Vitamin C Serum, Retinol Serum, and our Rose Hibiscus Spray. The later is one of my every day favorites. I spray it as a toner and hydrating spray. But also use it before I venture off to the gym. Or spray it around the bedroom before bed. It’s multi purpose!
