Expo East 2023 – A Memorable Conclusion

Another chapter of Expo East has come to a close, and as always, it was an exceptional event. We engaged with friends, peers, and buyers, and also made some new connections and acquaintances.

For Reviva, the location of the show in Philadelphia, PA was particularly advantageous, given its proximity to our facility, just across the bridge. This allowed all employees to return to the comfort of their homes at the end of each day. Moreover, we had the convenience of stopping by the office every morning to replenish any supplies that were running low such as catalogs or samples.

However, Change is on the Horizon.

Before the event kicked off, it was revealed that this year’s Expo East would be the final one in its current format. New Hope is revising this model and will introduce its new initiative, Newtopia Now, next year in Savanah, GA. This innovative venture is something Reviva eagerly anticipates learning more about.

Bidding Farewell to Expo East Comes with a Tinge of Sadness.

I have been representing Reviva at the Expo East event since 2017. Furthermore, Reviva has been a part of Expo East for several years. So, while it will undoubtedly be difficult to bid goodbye to this traditional event, we understand that change is not only inevitable but also often required.

This year marked a special occasion as Reviva’s Bakuchiol Plus Serum was a finalist for the prestigious Nexty Award. This achievement added a unique touch of flair to the event. Hence, we conclude on an optimistic note.

However, Expo West Still Remains

While we may feel a pang of nostalgia for the Eastern Expos that were, our participation in Expo West 2024 gives us a reason to celebrate. Traditionally seen as the more influential sibling of Expo East, it persists as a powerful exhibition that is likely to continue for decades to come. Therefore, although it’s saddening to say goodbye to East, it also amplifies our anticipation for our annual journey to Anaheim, CA.
