What is the pH of your Glycolic Acid Creme, and why does pH matter for AHAs?

The effectiveness of any glycolic acid product depends heavily on its pH. Glycolic acid needs to be formulated at or below a pH of 4.5 to be active enough to exfoliate the skin. Our Glycolic Acid Creme targets 3.1 pH. It is formulated as a buffered product, which means the pH has been carefully calibrated to deliver genuine exfoliating results while significantly reducing the risk of irritation that comes with very low-pH, unbuffered formulas.
